This Report covers full-time vacancy recruitment for the period of January 31, 2006 to January 31, 2007.
Opening Statement: After discussing the regulations regarding the EEO
with our FCC attorney Mr. Art Belediuk of Smithwick & Belediuk, we
have been advised that we are exempt as we only have 4 nonexempt full
time employees throughout the year. Even with that status, WoodStone
Broadcasting, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer and will strive to

4) WoodStone Broadcasting, Inc. has 6 full time employees of which 2
are exempt because of owning more than 20% of the stock. WoodStone
Broadcasting, Inc. has 4 non-exempt employees and an average of 8

local High Schools and Colleges’ mass communication programs as job
shadowing, interning, or Client referrals.
Engineer: Has been with us for over two years and is a contract
employee as we understand the IRS Classification of an independent
Contractor. He works for us as needed and also works for other Radio
stations in the area.
5) Recruitment
Sales (Full Time) Interviewed 6 people for two positions which were
opened during this reporting period. Interviewees were contacted
through the resumes they had submitted via our websites and were people
who had been unemployed from other industries in our area. Two sales
people were hired to replace two existing positions.
6) Total # of Interviewees Referred:
For the period of Jan. 31st 2005 until Jan. 15th 2006, this Employment
Unit interviewed 12 interviewees for full or part time employment
opportunities and accepted over 19 resumes. Two sales people were hired
to replace two existing open positions, and two Part Time people were
hired to replace three existing positions. No new positions were
created during this employment reporting period.
7) Supplemental Recruitment Initiatives:
(a) Initiative: Regional Radio Representatives have discussed career
opportunities on numerous occasions to the students of Ada High School,
Hayes Elementary, and Washington Elementary Schools. We were also
involved in representing Broadcasting Careers at the Oklahoma
Employment/ Workforce Oklahoma Job Fair.
(b) Initiative: Internships, Mentorship’s, and Job ShadowingWoodStone
Broadcasting, Inc. offers internships in all departments at its Radio
Stations through these initiatives. We have numerous students from Ada
High School Media Dept. use this type of Initiatives throughout the
school year. We also offer the same to the Chickasaw Nation Youth
Program each summer. Generally, we have two students from the Chickasaw
program each year and anywhere from 3 to 6 students from Ada High
School and East Central University Interning for our stations each year.
8) Woodstone Broadcasting, Inc. has additionally added this reporting
year, a 5 minute program airing each Monday on both stations, a program
for Workforce Oklahoma and the Employment Security Commission
announcing job openings, announcements, unemployment information, and
other information they want to get out to the public. Additionally, we
have added links to both of our websites for these two government
offices of employment.
